So Dan, if FInland and Singapore have less engaged students than ours, who has more engaged students than ours and what do their education systems look like?
Hi! Thanks for your comment. I think your question highlights one of the key issues… That is, I believe, we need to stop fixating on other countries and look in more depth at our own issues. Inequities across the SES & cultural divide for example…
In my opinion, engagement is a societal issue, not purely the domain of the education system, and to only look at it through and education lens probably accentuates the issues.
